Artwork Guidelines
Email artwork to art@bgunther.com. For files larger than 1MB, we recommend compressing the file. Our art department will determine if your submission is “camera ready.” The preferred format for art is a 100% black and white illustration saved as an eps file. Text must be converted to curves. DO NOT SEND WEB GRAPHICS OR LOW-RESOLUTION SCANS. A 600 dpi scan, output as a “black and white drawing” (not “photograph”), is acceptable. Colors and shades of gray are not engravable.
Art that does not meet specifications may require editing and delay production. Art editing services are $60 per hour, with a $30 minimum. You will be notified in advance if services are needed.
Indemnification
When you submit art and/or text to B. Gunther & Company, Inc., you assume full legal responsibility for compliance related to copy reproduction authorization. You agree to hold B. Gunther & Company, Inc. harmless of any damage or expense that may arise as a result of reproductions done on your behalf.
Proofs
Proofs will be faxed or emailed at no charge before production begins. Allow 1 working day from order acceptance for rush and program order proofs; allow 3 working days for standard order proofs. Same-day approval is urged to avoid production delays.

B. Gunther & Company, Inc., Inc. reserves the right to approve all orders. We will make every effort to meet your requested delivery date; however, order acceptance is subject to normal production lead times and material availability. If, for any reason, we cannot meet your required delivery, a company representative will contact you.
Normal Production and Rush Delivery
Normal production is 7–15 working days from approval of final art. For large orders or orders requiring special services, more time must be allowed.
Orders with short lead times may incur rush charges of 10% to 50% of the total order amount. Before placing a rush order, contact a B. Gunther & Company, Inc. representative about product availability and fees.
Production Setup
Typesetting and proofing are free with every order. If you submit your logo art as a black line art .eps file, there is no set up fee!
Personalization
Personalization is additional to the unit price.
Color Fill
Silver or gold color fill is available on most award styles. Color fill is $12 per location, per unit.
Packaging
Awards are gift boxed. Personalized awards include a name label on each box.
Shipping
FOB Factory, IL. Depending on circumstances, orders ship UPS, FedEx or messenger. No C.O.D. shipments. Third party billing, split shipments and international shipments may incur special handling charges. Claims for merchandise lost or damage in shipping must be filed directly with the carrier.
Payment
New Accounts: Major credit cards are required for payment. To qualify for open account billing, contact a B. Gunther & Company, Inc. representative for a credit application.
Established Accounts: Net 30 days. Invoices not paid within terms will be assessed a late payment fee of 1.5% per month. A $40.00 service charge applies to returned checks. A returned check may result in status being downgraded to "New Account” or C.O.D. status.
Sales Tax
Merchandise delivered in Illinois is subject to 7.25% sales tax.
Returns
Returns
B. Gunther & Company, Inc. cannot accept returns of engraved merchandise. Defects in workmanship and materials will be replaced at no charge. Contact a B. Gunther & Company, Inc. representative before making a return.
Cancellations
Cancellation charges are based on work completed. Once an order has been accepted, the minimum cancellation charge is $35.00. Once an order has been engraved, it cannot be cancelled.
Right to Promotion
B. Gunther & Company, Inc., Inc. reserves the right to photograph or display any award or logo that we engrave unless specified in a signed letter from the client. The following notice will appear with photographs or displays: Logos and names are for display only and do not imply endorsement.

This custom award recognition program is based on a volume–discount purchase. There are no renewal commitments and no contracts. You simply pay for products in advance - for example, a one year\'s supply of Glass awards - and order personalization as needed.
